What's New in PharmaClik Rx 2.5.1
The Pharmacy Technology Solutions (PTS) team has worked hard to resolve certain identified issues in PharmaClik Rx. Review the list below for the Fixes and Enhancements included in PharmaClik Rx 2.5.2.

Fixes
Fixed: The Mixture Breakdown Report and the Master Formulation Record now print the name of the mixture if there is information entered in the second row of the Name field of the Mixture folder.
Fixed: PharmaClik Rx no longer crashes when bill codes are locked in Rx Detail.
Fixed: For flu injection prescriptions, the patient's signature now appears on the Flu Consent Form regardless if the pharmacist signed or not.
Fixed: Prescriptions sent through ADI will now print the correct prescriber designation. For example, if the prescriber is a Nurse Practitioner, the label will print NP instead of Dr.
Fixed: An e-file copy is now generated and attached to prescriptions, regardless of if the prescribers second address is set as the primary.
Fixed: The quantity left on a narcotic prescription (Qty Left) now prints on the thermal vial labels instead of the repeats remaining.
Enhancements
Enhancement: Segic has been added as a new Third Party Payor. The new bill code for Segic is SI.
Enhancement: The following windows now load information more quickly:
- The Batch Profile window.
- The Rx Detail screen when creating or refilling prescriptions for patients with large profiles.
Enhancement: Prescriptions filled through the Parata Max now display a P on the vial label when there is a partial fill remaining.
Enhancement: GPID information can now be entered in More > Security for each pharmacist. Once entered in the Security window, this information is transmitted to PharmaNet for each claim processed.
Enhancement: As per the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information (NLCHI), the SIG can no longer be edited on refills for prescriptions transmitted to the Newfoundland and Labrador Drug Information System (NLDIS).
When refilling a prescription, the SIG field will no longer be editable.
Enhancement: An Allergy Check option is now available when performing Technical Validation.
Enhancement: The following mandatory checks are now available when performing Clinical Validation:
- Allergy Check
- PharmaNet Check
- D.T. Issues
Enhancement: When the new checks in Technical Validation and Clinical Validation are complete, the initials of the user who performed the checks appear under e-Verify on the e-file copy.
Enhancement: The Dialogue date under e-Verify on the e-file copy now displays the correct date.
Enhancement: Clinician Communication is a new PrescribeIT® feature that has been added to PharmaClik Rx. It provides a more reliable method of communication than faxes between prescribers and pharmacies through PrescribeIT®.
